"Missing switch" Error from "pmadmin set directory" Command (187956)

When using the command "pmadmin set directory /id:InstanceID", you may
receive the following error message:
Missing switch: DBUsername Subscript out of range
CAUSE
When you run this command against a SQL membership database, PMAdmin
always expects to be passed the additional parameters of /DBUsername and
/DBPassword, even if you do not intend to change these settings.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, apply the latest Site Server 3.0 service pack.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Site Server version 3.0.
This problem was corrected in the latest Microsoft Site Server version 3.0
