PPT98: Dual Screen Show: Meeting Minder Displays on First Screen (187759)

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft PowerPoint 98 Macintosh Edition

This article was previously published under Q187759

SYMPTOMS

If you run a PowerPoint 98 Macintosh Edition slide show on a computer that has more than one monitor attached to it, Meeting Minder always appears on the first screen.

For example, if you run a slide show on a PowerBook 5300c with an external monitor attached to it, you can set up your slide show so it appears on the external monitor. When you start Meeting Minder, however, it appears on the built-in monitor.

RESOLUTION

You may want to run Meeting Minder on a different screen from the slide show. This way, you can type in meeting minutes without covering up part of your slides. However, if you want Meeting Minder to appear on the same screen (monitor) as the slides, you can drag it there.

STATUS

This feature is under review and will be considered for inclusion in a future release.
