SYMPTOMS

When you view the Garfield Desktop Theme wallpaper, the background behind the animated sequence of the ant with the picnic basket may not appear to be textured.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if you are using a 256-color palette.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, set your color palette to High Color (16-bit). To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Display.
  3. Click the Settings tab.
  4. In the Colors box, click High Color (16-bit), and then click OK.
  5. Click "Restart the computer with the new color settings," and then click OK.
  6. When you are prompted to restart the computer, click Yes.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
