Plus! 98: Deleting One Copy of File Deletes All Copies of File (187721)

When you copy or move an uncompressed folder containing any files into a
compressed folder more than once, you create multiple copies of the files
inside the uncompressed folder within the compressed folder.
If you delete one copy of any file inside the uncompressed folder within
the compressed folder, all copies of the file are deleted.
RESOLUTION
To work around this issue, move any files you want to delete from inside
the uncompressed folder within the compressed folder to the desktop before
you delete the files.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Plus! 98,
version 1.0.
