"Invalid Floating Point Operation" Message Using HomeSite 2.5a (187578)

When you open a Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) document using the
Allaire HomeSite 2.5a program, you may receive the following error
messages:
- Invalid floating point operation
- Access violation at address 00D87OD4. Read of address 10004798
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if you are using HomeSite 2.5a and the Active
Desktop is enabled.
RESOLUTION
To work around this issue, disable the Active Desktop by following these
steps:
- Right-click the desktop, click Properties, and then click the Web tab.
- Click the "View my Active Desktop as a Web page" check box to clear it,
and then click Apply.
- Click OK, and then restart your computer.
To resolve this issue, upgrade to HomeSite version 3.0, or contact Allaire
for information about a possible update that resolves this issue with
HomeSite 2.5a.
