This article was previously published under Q187548 SYMPTOMS
When the Content Replication System (CRS) is configured with the following
CRS Command line utility, server2 and server3 will never get added:
CRS EDITPROJ <Project> destination=server1 server2 server3
Server1 may also not get fully added.
The Destination value is located in the Content Replication System project
information key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\CRS\Projects\<Project Name>
This can cause the CRS <Project Name> to fail.
RESOLUTION
To work around this problem, use the Content Replication System Web
Administrator program or upgrade to Site Server version 3.0
If this behavior is a serious problem, then apply the fix described below.
