TSCfg Adds RDP Connection Even if Initialization Fails (187435)

SYMPTOMS

Terminal Server Connection Configuration always adds Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) connection successfully, even when initialization of the connection fails.

RESOLUTION

To work around this problem, the administrator needs to restart the computer.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT Server 4.0 Terminal Server Edition.
