- Microsoft Project 98 for Windows
This article was previously published under Q187391 SYMPTOMS
In Microsoft Project 98, when you use resource leveling to resolve

CAUSE
This behavior may occur when you level a consolidated project, where
Resource Leveling is set to Automatic and the inserted projects share resources from a resource pool.
WORKAROUND

Manual, by following these steps before opening the consolidated file:
- On the Tools menu, click Resource Leveling.
- Click to select Manual.
- Click OK.
Then, to manually level a project, follow these steps:
- On the Tools menu, click Resource Leveling.
- Click Level Now.
STATUS

Project listed above.
