System Policies on LANtastic Server Are Not Implemented (187220)

When you have a system policy file stored on a LANtastic server, the
policies may not be implemented on workstations that connect to the
server.
CAUSE
System policies are not supported on LANtastic 7.0 networks because
network connectivity with the server is not established during the
initial login.
RESOLUTION
Store the system policy file on a Microsoft Networking or a Novell NetWare
server.
MORE INFORMATION
When you start Windows, the portion of the startup process that processes
the system policy file is run before the LANtastic network component.
Windows cannot gain access to the system policy file because LANtastic
connectivity has not yet been established.
