Cannot Change Display Settings for Ascentia P Video Adapter (187216)

When you attempt to change your display resolution or color palette, the
only resolution available is 640 X 480 and the only color palette
available is 16 colors.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur when you install Windows 98 on a computer with an
AST Ascentia P video adapter. Windows 98 does not support the AST Ascentia
P video adapter.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, contact AST Technical Support to inquire about a
possible update to resolve this issue.
