NOTE: The BIOS in your computer may use a different name for the Fast
Reboot feature, although the function of the feature may be the same, to
restart your computer in a short amount of time.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, disable the Fast Reboot feature in your computer's
BIOS. For information about how to do so, see the documentation included
with your computer or motherboard, or consult the manufacturer of your
computer.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this behavior is not caused by a problem
in Windows 98, but may be caused by design changes in Windows 98.
