CD-ROM Copies of Some Programs Do Not Work In Windows 98 (186297)

After you upgrade to Windows 98, CD-ROM copies of some programs may not
work correctly. For example, when you try to start a program, you may be
prompted to insert the program's CD-ROM even though you have already
inserted the copy of the program into the CD-ROM drive. Note that the
program's original CD-ROM may still work correctly.
RESOLUTION
To work around this issue, use one of the following methods:
Use the Program's Original CD-ROM

Create a New Copy of the Original CD-ROM
To work around this issue, create a new copy of the program's original
CD-ROM in Windows 98. For information about how to do this, see the
documentation included with your CD-ROM recording program.

Microsoft has confirmed that this behavior is not caused by a problem
in Windows 98, but may be caused by design changes in Windows 98. For
