FP98: Cannot Verify Selected Hyperlink If Link is Broken (186257)

SYMPTOMS

When you Click Verify Hyperlinks on the Tools menu when you have a broken internal link selected in Hyperlink view, the Verify All Hyperlinks option is the only available option.

CAUSE

The Verify All Hyperlinks option is the only available option because the broken link was already verified as a broken link. FrontPage processes internal links in real-time.

You can only verify selected hyperlinks if the selected hyperlink is an external link and its status is unknown or OK.
