PRJ98: Cannot Change Actual Work Value When a Task Is Complete (186075)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Project 98, when you type a new value in a task's Actual Work field, the value might not change when you press ENTER.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs when a task is 100 percent complete, and the Updating task status updates resource status check box is cleared. (On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Calculation tab).

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the versions of Microsoft Project listed above.
