This article was previously published under Q186042

SYMPTOMS

When you create certain multimedia greetings, Greetings Workshop prompts you to replace the text balloons with photos. You are unable to skip this step.

To see this behavior, follow these steps:

  1. Click Multimedia Greetings.
  2. Select Notes & News.
  3. Under Just For Fun, select the third card down on the left, and click continue.
Note that you are then prompted with "Pick a photo to insert."

WORKAROUND

After you complete the multimedia greeting, you can add in the text balloons manually. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. From the "Pick a photo to insert" screen, select "Leave it blank and I'll paste a photo in later."
  2. Repeat this procedure for the next text balloon.
  3. Click the "Go to scene" button and select Scene 2.
  4. Double-click on the text "Place photo or other design here."
  5. Select a text balloon in the Art Gallery.
  6. Repeat this procedure for the second text balloon.
NOTE: Although these balloons will retain the animation characteristics of the template, you will need to create new text frames and animate them to match the text balloons.
