When you edit the text of a slide, cell, document, or other object, you
cannot see the insertion point.
CAUSE
This problem occurs when the following conditions are true:
- You change the background color or pattern of the object to the color
gray.
-and-
- You attempt to edit the text of the object.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, change the background or pattern of the object
to another color, such as a lighter or darker shade of gray.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the products listed at
the beginning of this article.
