SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to download messages using Outlook Express, you may receive the following error message:
MSIMN caused an invalid page fault in module KERNEL32.DLL at <address>

CAUSE

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, upgrade to Internet Explorer 4.01 Service Pack 1 or later. For information about obtaining a later version of Internet Explorer, visit the following Microsoft Web site:

http://www.microsoft.com/ie

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01.
