XL97: Chart Exported as a Graphic File May Be Truncated (185001)

When you use the Internet Assistant Wizard to export a chart, the resulting
Graphics Interchange Format (GIF) file may be truncated.
When you use the Export method in a Visual Basic for Applications macro to
export a chart to a GIF or a JPEG file, the resulting file may be
truncated.
CAUSE
This problem occurs when the graphic file that is created during the export
process is too large.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, resize the embedded chart so that the
resulting graphic file is smaller.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article.
