Extended Logging Information Not Imported From ODBC Log (183820)

SYMPTOMS

Although the Internet Information Server (IIS) extended log format records extended logging information into an ODBC log source when properly configured, Usage Analyst is not capable of importing this extended information into it's database. Consequently, if you are using ODBC logging, referrer and browser information are not available.

WORKAROUND

If you wish to create reports that include any data gathered from extended logging information, your Web server must be set to log to a text file.
