OL98: Signature Not Added to Non E-mail Items When Forwarding (183781)

When you forward a non e-mail item such as a contact or calendar item, an
AutoSignature is not added to the message.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Outlook 98.

When you use Send To on the File menu of other Microsoft Office 97
programs, a signature is not added to your new message.
WORKAROUND
Add the signature manually. For example, to add a signature to an e-mail
message that contains a contact, follow these steps:
- On the Outlook Bar click Contacts
- Right-click to select a contact, and then click Forward As vCard on the
shortcut menu.
- On the Insert menu of the new mail message, point to Signature, and
then click More.
- Choose the signature you want to insert and then click OK.
