SUMMARY

This article describes problems you may encounter when you use a PC Card with your Handheld PC (H/PC).

MORE INFORMATION

Problems you may encounter when you use a PC Card with your H/PC include:

  • You may lose data if you use the same name for a folder on the PC Card as you use for a folder on the H/PC.
  • The H/PC may not recognize a write-protected PC Card.
  • If you cut a folder from the H/PC, and then paste the folder to the PC Card, you may receive the following error message:
Cannot move <folder name>. The destination folder is the same as the source folder.
NOTE: You can copy a folder from the H/PC to a PC Card without receiving this error message.
  • When you use a PC Card that contains voice recordings, the H/PC may stop responding (hang) if you toggle the voice recording power on and off.
