WD98: Inserted Graphic Does Not Show in Normal View (183343)

When you insert a picture or other graphic into a Word 98 Macintosh Edition
document, the graphic does not appear in normal view.
CAUSE
The graphic is formatted as a floating object. You cannot view floating
objects in normal view.
WORKAROUND
To enable the graphic to be displayed as expected, use either of the
following methods.
Method 1: Change Views
On the View menu, click either Page Layout or Online Layout.
Method 2: Change Object to "Inline"
Format the graphic as an inline object by removing the Float Over Text
formatting. To do this, follow these steps:
- Select the graphic.
- On the Format menu, click Picture.
- Click the Position tab.
- Click to clear the Float Over Text check box.
- Click OK.
