SYMPTOMS
In Microsoft Query 97, the Choose Data Source dialog box displays only File
Data Source Names (DSNs).
CAUSE
This problem occurs when you upgrade the existing Intersolv Oracle 3.00
Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) driver to the Intersolv Oracle 3.01 ODBC
driver.
WORKAROUND
To work around this behavior, use the updated driver and re-create all
queries that you have previously created with the Oracle 3.00 ODBC driver.
STATUS
This behavior is by design of Microsoft Query 97 for Windows.
