FP98: Files Remain After Removing Theme From Page (183039)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft FrontPage 98 for Windows
This article was previously published under Q183039 SYMPTOMS
After you apply a new theme to a page, files from the old theme remain in the following folders:
_themes
_overlay
_derived
CAUSE
When you apply a theme, the necessary files are copied to your Web. When you apply a new theme
to a separate page in the Web, the necessary files for that theme are also copied to the Web.
When you remove the theme, or apply a new theme to the page, the original theme files are retained.
RESOLUTION
To remove the theme components that you no longer need, recalculate hyperlinks
in the Web by following these steps:
- Open your Web in FrontPage Explorer.
- On the Tools menu, click Recalculate Hyperlinks.
- In the Recalculate Hyperlinks dialog box, click Yes.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
