ACCDATE Command Line Does Not Work with Windows 95 (182465)

SYMPTOMS

When you edit the Config.sys file to include an ACCDATE command so that the last accessed date for files is not updated, files may still be updated with the current date when you make changes.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Windows 95. We are researching this problem and will post new information in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
