When you attempt to send a Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) e-mail or news
message using Outlook Express, you may receive the following error
message:
This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.
When you click Details, the following details are displayed:
MSIMN caused an invalid page fault in module MSIMNUI.DLL at <address>.
CAUSE
This error message can occur if the HTML e-mail or news message includes a
marquee containing both graphics and text.
RESOLUTION
To prevent this behavior from occurring, do not attempt to send an HTML e-
mail or news message that includes a marquee containing both graphics and
text.
STATUS
Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here
in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
MORE INFORMATION
This error message does not occur when you send an HTML e-mail or news
message that includes a marquee containing only graphics or only text.
