Outlook Express and Outlook 97 Do Not Redial Automatically (181815)

When you try to dial out in Outlook Express or Outlook 97, both programs
may not redial automatically after receiving a busy signal.
RESOLUTION
To work around this issue, use either of the following methods:
Method 1
After you receive a busy signal, try to dial again. Repeat this process
until you successfully connect.
Method 2
Establish the connection, and then start the appropriate e-mail program.
To do so, use the following steps:
- Click Start, point to Programs, point to Accessories, point to
Communications, and then click Dial-Up Networking.
- Double-click the connection you use for Outlook 97 or Outlook Express,
and then follow the instructions on the screen to complete the
connection.
