PI 2.0: Media Manager Cannot Create Thumbnails for CGM Files (181376)

SYMPTOMS

Picture It! version 2.0 includes the program, Media Manager 1.5 to help you catalog and view your graphics files.

If you right-click a Computer Graphics Metafile (*.cgm) file in Windows Explorer, the Create Thumbnail command is not available.

CAUSE

This issue occurs because Computer Graphics Metafile (*.cgm) format is not supported for capturing thumbnails in Media Manager.

The Media Manager Help file "Media Manager How To" incorrectly states that you can use the .cgm format.
