SYMPTOMS

When you perform an automatic chained replication, the File Send and File Received counters do not match.

After the initial synchronization, execute the following command on the midpoint stage computer:

CRS QUERYREP

The number of files sent to the endpoint computer is not equal to the number of files received on the midpoint stage computer.

For example, consider a directory that contains 1,500 files and two folders. After initial synchronization, CRS QUERYREP reports 1,500 files received from the stager, but 1,509 files are actually sent to the endpoint computer.

NOTE: The directories are identical on all three computers (initial, midpoint, and endpoint computers).
