FIX: Queries Using Derived Tables or GROUP BY May Cause an Access Violation (181048)

SYMPTOMS
In rare cases, queries that require SQL Server to re-map columns to virtual
tables may cause SQL Server to have a handled access violation (AV). This
has only been observed when either of the following conditions us true:
- Derived tables are used.
-or-
- A GROUP BY clause is used and the data being grouped comes from a view.
WORKAROUNDSTATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in SQL Server 6.5.
