In Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition, if you run an AppleScript script,
you may receive the following error message:

Microsoft Excel got an error: Unable to get the Select property of the
Range class

To prevent this problem from occurring, modify your script so that it
selects the worksheet before it selects the range of cells in the
worksheet, as in the following example:
Select Sheet "Sheet1"
Select Range "R3C2:R6C4" of Sheet "Sheet1"
Note that because the worksheet is already active, it is not necessary to
specify the worksheet name when you select the cells:
Select Sheet "Sheet1"<BR/>
Select Range "R3C2:R6C4"
