WD98: Pleading Wizard Halts If Visual Basic Editor Window Open (180515)

When you attempt to create a new document based on the Pleading
Wizard, you receive the following error message:
The Wizard cannot use the active document. To run the wizard,
choose New from the File menu, and select Legal Pleading Wizard.
When you click OK, the Wizard halts.
NOTE: This error message occurs when the Visual Basic for Applications
Editor window is open.
WORKAROUND
Close the Visual Basic for Applications Editor window before you create a
new document based on the Pleading Wizard. To do this, follow these steps:
- On the Tools menu, point to Macro and then click Visual Basic Editor.
- On the File menu, click "Close and Return to Microsoft Word."
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem
and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it
becomes available.
