SYMPTOMS

When you are using the Distributed File System client (DFS) for Windows 95, drive mappings may revert to the DFS root.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if you are running Network Associates (formerly McAfee) V-Shield version 3.14 with Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0.
