PRJ98: Calendar Changed for All Projects Sharing Resources (180292)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Project 98, when you have projects that share resources, all of the sharing projects use the same project calendar.

CAUSE

All projects that share resources use the same project calendar.

When you begin to share resources with another project, all projects that share resources will then use the same calendar as the project that is the source of the resource sharing.

When you modify the project calendar in one project that shares resources with another project, all projects that share resources will reflect this modification in their calendars.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the versions of Microsoft Project listed above.
