OL98: CTRL+DELETE Does Not Delete Word in HTML Mail (179744)

With the insertion point at the beginning of a word in the body of a
message, when you press CONTROL+DELETE the current word does not delete.
This occurs when you use HTML as the default outgoing mail format in
Microsoft Outlook 98
RESOLUTION
Delete the text using one of the following:
- Place the insertion point at the end of the word and press
CTRL+BACKSPACE.
- Select the word, and press DELETE.
- Select the word, and press CTRL+X.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Outlook 98.
