In most cases, using the right mouse button to drag a file from the Windows
Explorer into another open program window gives you a menu option to create
a
shortcut at the target location. However, in Microsoft Outlook 98, you will
not
see a menu and an attachment will be created in the appointment.
This article describes three methods to overcome this problem:
- Drag the file onto an Outlook Calendar page.
- Use the Insert command to insert a shortcut.
- Drag a shortcut into the open appointment note window.
