OL97: Personal Distribution List Name Not Resolved Sending E-mail (179317)

When you try to send e-mail using a personal distribution list (PDL) name
from the Personal Address Book, Microsoft Outlook may not be able to
resolve the list.
CAUSE
This problem may occur if either of the following conditions are true:
- The Personal Address Book may not be in the list to check names for
addressing
-or-
- The Personal Address Book may be lower in priority than the Global
Address List.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, use the appropriate method for your situation.
Add the Personal Address Book to the Address Lookup List
To add the Personal Address Book to the address lookup list, follow these
steps:
- On the Tools menu, click Services.
- Click the Addressing tab.
- Click Add.
- Click to select Personal Address Book from the list, and then click
Add. Click Close and click OK.
Move the Personal Address Book up in the Search Order
To move the Personal Address Book up in the search order, follow these
steps:
- On the Tools menu, click Services.
- Click the Addressing tab.
- Click to select Personal Address Book in the list at the bottom of the
dialog box. Address books in this list are checked from top to bottom.
- Click the up arrow to move Personal Address Book up in the order
and click OK.
