CRS: Web Administrator Dialog Boxes Incorrectly Sized When Viewed with Internet Explorer Version 4.0 (179290)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Commercial Internet System 1.0
- Microsoft Content Replication System
- Microsoft Site Server 2.0
This article was previously published under Q179290 SYMPTOMS
When you view the Content Replication Server (CRS) version 2.0 Web
Administrator's dialog boxes in Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) version
4.0, the boxes are incorrectly sized. Also, the OK, Cancel, and Help
buttons are not visible, and the dialog box window is not resizable.
CAUSE
The dialog box sizes are hard coded in the Ossa Web Administrator, and IE
4.0 puts more vertical white space in tables in the dialog boxes than IE
3.0 does.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Commercial
Internet System version 1.0 and Site Server version 2.0. This problem has
been corrected in the latest U.S. Service Pack for Site Server 2.0 Service
Pack 1. For information on obtaining the Service Pack, query on the
following word in the Microsoft Knowledge Base (without the spaces):
