PUB98: Thick Borders May Fill-In Irregularly Wrapped Graphics (179178)

If you apply a thick border to a graphic with an irregular wrap, the entire
graphic may fill in with the color of the border. This will occur under the
following circumstances:
- The shape of the graphic is very complex.
- The graphic is fairly small on the page.
- The border is 8 points or thicker.
NOTE: When this happens, it may appear correctly if you zoom to a different
percentage view. It will print incorrectly, however.
RESOLUTION
Use any one of the following methods to correct this problem:
- Enlarge the graphic.
- Choose a thinner border.
- Edit the irregularly wrapped polygon to make it simpler.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article.
