PUB98: CTRL+N Opens Blank Page, not Catalog Dialog Box (179164)

When you press CTRL+N to create a new publication, a blank page, set up for the
Windows default printer, appears rather than the Catalog dialog box. This means
you will not be able to select a Wizard or design template. In contrast, if you
click New on the File menu, the Catalog dialog box appears and you can select a
Wizard or design template.
CAUSE
Pressing CTRL+N is designed to give you a new publication in the least amount of
time. Therefore, by design, it bypasses the Catalog dialog box.
