SUMMARY

In Microsoft Publisher, when you insert a calendar Design Gallery Object, each month is represented in a table. This article describes how to emphasize a particular day by changing the border of the cell for a single day within the calendar table.

MORE INFORMATION

To change the border of a single table cell, follow these steps:
  1. Select the cell you want to emphasize by following these steps:
    1. Click in the cell you want to change.
    2. Drag over the cell.

The cell should now be selected.
  2. On the Format menu, point to Line/Border Style, and then click a border thickness or click More Styles.
  3. If you clicked More Styles, select a thickness, side and/or color, and click OK.

The border changes for only the single table cell.
NOTE: You can only apply Border Art to an entire object, not to a single or multiple cells in a table.

For more information about adding a line border to a table, click the Office Assistant, type line border, click Search, and then click to view "Add a line border to a table."
