PUB98: No Overtype Mode Available in Text Frames (178846)

Microsoft Publisher does not support the INSERT key in its text frames.
When you type text, you cannot toggle the INSERT key on the keyboard to
switch to Overtype mode.
RESOLUTION
To overtype text, highlight the text you want to remove and then type. The
highlighted text is replaced with the text you type.

This feature is under review and will be considered for inclusion in a
