XL98: #NULL! Error Copying Formula That Contains a Label (178411)

When you copy a formula from one cell to another, the resulting value is
a #NULL! error.
CAUSE
This problem occurs when the following conditions are true:
- You copy a formula that contains both a label and a defined name
reference.
-and-
- The reference to the defined name is located between two label
references as in the following example:
=<Label1> <Defined name> <Label2>
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem
and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it
becomes available.
