SYMPTOMS

Microsoft Picture It! version 2.0 includes an electronic coupon from Kodak to obtain a free 5-by-7 inch print or to save $10 on a single order to the Kodak Image Magic Print Service.

Step 2 of the instructions on the coupon tell you to

Enter the 16-digit certificate number below.

however your certificate number may only have 15 digits.

CAUSE

Some of the electronic discount coupons were printed with 15 digits instead of 16 digits.

RESOLUTION

The following information was provided by Kodak Image Magic Print Service:

To use a 15-digit certificate number, follow these steps:
  1. Look at the third digit in the coupon and place that number or letter (case sensitive) at the end of the code. For example:

    00i000000000000 would become 00i000000000000i

    -or-

    004000000000000 would become 0040000000000004
