This article was previously published under Q178186

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Project 98, when you print a Base Calendar or Working Days report, the output is limited to what will fit on a single page. This limits the number of exceptions that can be printed for the Base Calendar.

WORKAROUND

To print additional information for these reports, use any of the following methods.

NOTE: Although each of these methods allows you to print more on the report, there is a limit to how much you can print on one page and still read the printout.

Use a Smaller Font

  1. On the View menu, click Reports.
  2. In the Reports dialog box, click Custom, and then click Select.
  3. In the Reports list, click Base Calendar, and then click Edit.
  4. In the Size box, type a smaller font size, and then click OK.

NOTE: The smallest TrueType font size you can type is 4.
  5. Click Close, and then click Cancel.

Use a Large Page Size

  1. On the File menu, click Print.
  2. In the Print dialog box, click Properties.
  3. If you receive the following message the first time you click on Properties, click OK:

For most printers, this command controls default printer settings for all documents and all programs.

Use Page Setup on the File menu to set page orientation for individual views and reports.
  4. If available, choose a larger page size, such as Legal.

Scale the Report

  1. On the View menu, click Reports.
  2. In the Reports dialog box, click Custom, and then click Select.
  3. In the Reports list, click Base Calendar.
  4. Click Preview.
  5. On the toolbar, click Page Setup.
  6. Under Scaling, reduce the percentage to a smaller number, and click OK.

STATUS
