In Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition, if you drag the Office Assistant

drag the Office Assistant window back to the primary monitor; instead, the
computer beeps when you click the Office Assistant window.
CAUSE
This problem occurs if you click Print Preview on the File menu, and then
drag the Office Assistant window to a secondary monitor.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, exit print preview by clicking Close at the top of
the preview window. After you do this, drag the Office Assistant window to
any monitor you want, including the primary monitor.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem
and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it
becomes available.
MORE INFORMATION
If you have a Macintosh computer, you can connect multiple monitors to the
computer by installing a video adapter for each monitor that you want to
connect to the computer. If you are using multiple monitors, one monitor is
the primary monitor; the other monitors are "secondary" monitors. Normally,
programs and documents appear in the primary monitor, but you can drag them
to a secondary monitor. When the mouse pointer reaches the edge of one
monitor, it automatically moves onto the next monitor.
