Bookshelf Setup Does Not Continue After Removing Older Version (176844)

If you install Microsoft Bookshelf 98 on a computer with Bookshelf 1996-97
and Microsoft Internet Explorer 2.0 installed, Bookshelf Setup prompts you
to remove the older versions of both programs. If you click Yes, Bookshelf
Setup removes these programs and then restarts the computer. However, when
the computer restarts, Bookshelf Setup does not install Bookshelf 98.
RESOLUTION
To complete the installation of Bookshelf 98, run Bookshelf Setup again.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Bookshelf 98 for
Windows. We are researching this problem and will post new information here
in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
