XFOR: INS: Moderator Notified When Article Without Approved Header Arrives on Peer Feed (176683)

In Internet News Server (INS), the moderator receives an e-mail message
when an article without approved header arrives on a peer feed.
CAUSE
INS erroneously sends e-mail to the newsgroup moderator when an article
arrives without an approved header on a peer feed.
RESOLUTION
The server will now only notify moderators for client's posts that lack
approved headers; if an article arrives from any kind of feed without an
approved header, the article is accepted and the moderator is not
notified.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in MCIS version 1.0.
A supported fix is now available, but has not been fully regression-tested
and should be applied only to systems experiencing this specific problem.
Unless you are severely impacted by this specific problem, Microsoft
recommends that you wait for the next Service Pack that contains this fix.
