The outside and some interior borders on your table are missing after you
paste or paste link the table as a Picture or as a Microsoft Word Document
object.
WORKAROUND
Use one of the following workarounds to paste your table with borders.
Method 1: Link the Table as Formatted Text (RTF)- On the Edit menu, click Paste Special.
- Click Paste Link.
- In the As list, click Formatted Text (RTF), and then click OK.
Method 2: Crop the Table Boundaries- Click to select the Picture or Word Document object (your pasted table
object.)
- On the Picture toolbar, click Crop.
- Position the cropping tool over a sizing handle and drag it.
For more information about cropping objects, click Contents And Index on
the Help menu (or on the Balloon Help menu if you are using a version of
the Macintosh operating system earlier than 8.0), click the Index tab in
Word Help, type the following text
drawing objects, cropping
and then double-click the selected text to go to the "Resize or crop a
drawing object" topic. If you are unable to find the information you need,
ask the Office Assistant.
Method 3: Copy and Paste the Table into the Apple Scrapbook- Copy the table by selecting it and then click Copy on the Edit menu.
- Start the Apple Scrapbook (on the Apple menu, click Scrapbook).
