The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Project 2000
- Microsoft Project 98 for Windows
This article was previously published under Q176292 SYMPTOMS
In Microsoft Project, if you view a resource pool in Resource Usage view, you may see incorrect work and cost values for the Unassigned resource.
NOTE: The incorrect work and cost values you see will not affect the
project total work and cost. The values displayed are not included in the
calculations of the totals.
CAUSE
This occurs when the pool is open, but the files that use the resource pool
are not.
WORKAROUND
To resolve this problem, open the files that use the pool. This causes the
pool to be updated to display the correct information.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the versions of Microsoft
Project listed above.
